What is the definition of a prime number?
A prime number is a natural number greater than 1 that has no positive divisors other than 1 and itself.
What is the commutative property of addition?
The commutative property of addition states that the order in which two numbers are added does not affect the sum. For any numbers a and b, a + b = b + a.
Explain the concept of the Least Common Multiple (LCM).
The Least Common Multiple (LCM) of two or more integers is the smallest positive integer that is a multiple of all the integers.
What is the distributive property of multiplication over addition?
The distributive property states that multiplying a sum by a number is the same as multiplying each addend by the number and then adding the products. For any numbers a, b, and c, a * (b + c) = (a * b) + (a * c).
Define 'integer'.
Integers are whole numbers, both positive and negative, including zero. They do not have fractional or decimal parts.
What is the absolute value of a number?
The absolute value of a number is its distance from zero on the number line, regardless of direction. It is always a non-negative value.
