Limited Use Disclosure

The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

The use of raw or derived user data received from Workspace APIs will adhere to the Google User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

QuizFlex uses AI/ML services to process user data solely to provide and improve user-facing features within the app. We do not use, transfer, or sell Google Workspace or Photos user data — including raw, aggregated, or derived data — to develop, train, or improve any generalized or foundational AI/ML models.

QuizFlex uses third-party AI APIs (OpenAI and Google Gemini) to generate quizzes from content you upload to QuizFlex. We do not send Google Workspace API user data to those services. If a user-requested feature ever requires AI processing of Workspace data, that processing will be solely to provide that visible feature and will not be used to train or improve generalized AI/ML models.

What Workspace data we access

If you choose to connect a Google account, QuizFlex requests only the permissions needed to export or assign a quiz you already created:

  • Account email so we can show which Google account is connected.
  • Google Classroom courses (read-only) so you can pick a class when assigning a quiz.
  • Google Forms and Drive file access so we can create a Form from your quiz when you ask us to.
  • Classroom coursework so we can create the assignment you request.

We do not use Google Photos APIs. We do not read your existing Drive files, Gmail, or Classroom student submissions.

How we use that data

Workspace API data is used only to provide the user-facing Google Forms export and Google Classroom assign features. We do not use it for advertising, credit decisions, or sale to data brokers. We do not allow humans to read Workspace user data except with your consent, for security investigations, or when required by law.

Your controls

You can disconnect Google from QuizFlex at any time in the export or integration UI. You can also revoke access in your Google Account permissions. Questions: Contact us.
